Ending one chapter, beginning the next. With Santa Fe in our rear view mirror, we drove into the sunset.

We left northern New Mexico, October 1st. In a nutshell, we spent the first few weeks visiting family in Roswell and Lubbock; spent a few days in Austin visiting our friends, The Woods, who recently discovered they’re with child (Congratulations!); spent a few days in Little Rock visiting our step-sister where she’s attending school; drove into Missouri and changed a flat—at night, in the rain, on the shoulder of the interstate; and due to time constraints, skipped Iowa City (sorry Christina), but drove I-29 through Missouri and Iowa, into Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
